Everitt Dean, a retired farmer of Delaware, N.J., died on Monday at 6:25 o'clock p.m. at the Easton Hospital from complications following an operation. He was admitted to the hospital on April 15th last. His age was 62 years, 8 months and 25 days.
Mr. Dean was a son of the late David and Catherine Parr Dean and was born near Mt. Hermon, N.J. For many years he resided near Delaware, N.J., where he was highly respected by all who knew him. He was a member of the Delaware Presbyterian church.
Mr. Dean was united in marriage to Sallie J. Raub, who survives him together with two sons, Arthur Dean, proprietor of a store at Delaware, and Frank Dean, head bookkeeper for a large mercantile establishment at Trenton. He is also survived by one brother, Albert Dean. of Mt. Hermon.
The body was removed to the home of his son, Arthur Dean, at Delaware, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 o'clock p.m. standard time. Rev. Albert Albertson will conduct the services, in the absence of the pastor, Rev. [Augustus] C. Kellogg, and interment will be made in Cedar Ridge cemetery, -------[Blairstown] N.J.

Everett married Sally Johnson Raub, daughter of Erastus Vaughan* Raub and Macrina Linaberry* Brands, on 25 Dec 1890.⁸⁶ (Sally Johnson Raub was born on 26 Jul 1868, died on 24 Apr 1931 in Trenton, NJ ⁸⁵ and was buried on 28 Apr 1931 in Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Jacksonburg, NJ.)
