Book 1, Folio 33; 4 Aug 1829 "To Elizabeth W. SHACKLETON" . . . Benjamin SHACKLETON of the Township of Oxford. . . and Elizabeth W. BLAIR of the same place was lawfully joined together in marriage on 17 June1824, by me, one of the Elders of the Methodist Episcopal Church of North America [signed] David BARTINE
In the 1850 census, after the other children are listed, there is an "Elizabeth Thomas, age 15," also living with the family. Since she is out of age sequence of the other children, I'm not certain whether she was another child of theirs, or someone not of this family living with them. 46
