English equivalent of Aaltje, Aeltje, Aeltie is Alice. I do n’t find any baptisms for either Altie Cortright ( Kortrigh t, Kortreght) or George Westbrook. Jurian is the Dutch equival ent of George. Jurian was the emigrant Westvael ancestor. Jurian immigrated from Prussia to the Netherlands and in 16 42 immigrated to New Netherlands. He settled in Rensselaerwyck, moving in 1653 to land near Kingston, NY an d married Maria Hansen.

Do you think George was the son of Cornelius B. Westbroek?
My grandson is named Jurian after his 11th great grandfathe r. (I had to add that.)
