April 1787: Whereas EDWARD ROBISON, late of Knowlton by LWT left to Cornelius Albertson & Mary his wife (she being a daughter of said Edward Robison) and after their decease was bequeathed to their children...the plantation where Cornelius now lives in Knowlton...200 acres adjoining Jacob Engle and Nicholas Albertson, & Robert Allison. Be it remembered that we Robert Alliosn and George Mardant both of KNowlton sell to Cornelius Albertson and Mary his wife for 5 shillings. Signed by Robert Allison and George X Mardant. Witnesses: Jacob Cummins and Nicholas Albertson. On 19 August 1800 Nicholas Albertson gave deposition to Judge Evi Adams. 64
