John R. Martin

In the 1930 Federal Census, he is listed as a carpenter. This agrees with what Mrs. Martin said in her 1934 letter to my grandfather. ¹⁸

John married Mary Raub, daughter of William R. Raub and Mary Frances Clearwater. (Mary Raub was born on 17 May 1890 in New York ¹⁵⁹.)
