In the name of God, Amen, I, Rachel Brands, of the township of Knowlton, in the County of Warren and the State of
New Jersey, Being of Sound mind and Memory and understanding (for which blessing I thank God) do make and
publish this my last will and testament in the manner following, that is to say, that it is my will and I do order that all my
Just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as ---- can do after my decease. I give and Bequeath
unto my grandchildren as follows: to James Brands, David's son One Hundred Dollars, to James Brands, son of Jacob
Brands, One Hundred Dollars, to James Brands, son of William Brands, One Hundred dollars, to James Brands, Son of
John Brands, One Hundred Dolalrs, to James B. Lisk, son of James and Eleanor Lisk, fifty dollars. To Mary Jane
Brands, daughter of my son David Brands (who is married but I do not know her husband's name) One Hundred
Dollars.

Also, I Bequeath and give to John R. Broderick (who served his time with my Husband) one feather bed bedstead and
bedding of his choice in my pop---- and One Hundred dollars for his kind treatment to me after my Husband's Death.
Then, I give and bequeath until William Quick my Carriage Waggon and One Horse Hair ----. Then I give and bequeath
unto Ann Quick (wife of William Quick) my -lap Pitcher Waiter and Corner Cupboard.

Then I give the Ballance of my Estate my Children: David Brands, John Brands, William Brands, Jacob Brands, Daniel
Brands, Eleanor Lisk, wife of James Lisk. Share and share alike. Lastly, I do Hereby appoint my friend John J. Vankirk
my Executor of this my last will and Testament.

Rachel married James Brands, son of Jacob* Brands and Dorothy* Fiestler, on 29 Aug 1793. (James Brands was born on 24 Nov 1773, died on 2 May 1850 26 and was buried in Ramseyburg Cemetery, Warren Co., NJ 8.)
