I can't figure out what process was used to create this picture.  It looks to be a photograph, but if you look at the linens hanging on the lines....they all have red stripes of some sort.  Is it possible that all the neighbors bought the same linens?  Or is this, perhaps, a colorized black and white photo, or even a painting?
